The dental hygiene graduates must appreciate their role as health professionals at the local, state, and

national levels. The graduates must poses the ethics, values, skills, and knowledge integral to all

aspects of the profession.

 

Program SLO #1: Adhere to the American Dental Hygienist’s Associations’ code of ethical conduct and apply

this code to established state and federal laws, recommendations, and regulations in the provision of dental

hygiene care.

My partner and I did a project about honey and oral health. The studies have shown honey to be the natural oral antibiotic. In addition, the potential for Manuka honey to provide beneficial outcome in the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis is very promissing.
