The dental hygiene graduates must appreciate their role as health professionals at the local, state, and
national levels. The graduates must poses the ethics, values, skills, and knowledge integral to all
aspects of the profession.
Program SLO #1: Adhere to the American Dental Hygienist’s Associations’ code of ethical conduct and apply
this code to established state and federal laws, recommendations, and regulations in the provision of dental
hygiene care.

CDHA 2015 Spring Scientific Session
I presented a table clinic at the CDHA 2015 Spring Scientific Session convention in Anaheim, CA.

Program SLO #3: Understand and interpret the scientific literature and research as it relates to the evidence based
practice of dental hygiene.
My partner and I did a project about honey and oral health. The studies have shown honey to be the natural oral antibiotic. In addition, the potential for Manuka honey to provide beneficial outcome in the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis is very promissing. Below is my project, honey the natural oral antibiotic.

growth.
At Wes Los Angeles College, I learned the unitilization of digital x rays, panoramic x rays, and traditional x rays.
