In my junior year, I've learned, accomplished, gained, and mastered many things .  

I started the program with minimal acknowledge about dental hygiene, believing dental hygiene is only limited to oral health. I was wrong. I learned the profession of dental hygiene not only provide values of oral health, but also provide values of general health and wellness in individuals. In addition, the profession also promote health related quality of life. Throughout the junior year, I accomplished many projects and research papers which gave me the opportunity to gain many research experiences. After many practices and experiences, I've mastered in power points production and the use of some insturmentations. The continuous improvement on time management is a must and I look forward to grow further in senior year with increased clinical experience.  

 

 

 

 

In my senior year, I continued learning, accomplishing, gaining and mastering many things.

In this year, the patients I experienced are more medically and periodontal involved than patients I experienced during my junior year.  It is very satisfying to complete the treatment then see a big smile on my patient's face knowing that I provided good patient care and have impacted patient's oral health and general health. Through my education and experiences in senior year, I became more definite about my future career goal. I plan to utilize everything I learned in dental hygiene program to help the community and promote healthier lives after graduation. My future career goal include working as a clinician, an oral health promoter in public health, and becoming an advocator who advocates dental hygiene as a new profession in Taiwan in the future.
